DAE – Digital Arts and Entertainment
GameProject 2021
Our game is a third person, single player, aerial combat shooter. You have to fight as long as you can in an underground arena. Full of obstacles and hostile entities. These you will have to avoid and destroy. At all cost.

For this week we have tested out first of all wich engine would be best to use for our project. During the prototyping we discoverd that unreal engine would be a better fit than unity. The movement is smoother and was easier to make it in Unreal engine.
In the prototyping we tested out our character movement. The Yaw, Pitch and Roll are controlled separately wich makes for smoother movement and gives you the freedom to fly around in the whole environment.
We also found that our art style it's main inspiration is overwatch.
Also we made a clear visual picture of the environment, which is an underground arena. As seen in the image.
Our goal for next week:
We will start testing out our enemies and weapon by making prototypes. And start on making important meshes that programmers will need for prototyping.
