Ship explosion:

In the video above you can see on the right the particle that will indicate that the enemy is destroyed. The left side particle shows the mine pulse, if the player flies into the pulse the ship will get damaged or get destroyed.

Environment:

We added more plants, but this time plants that grow out of the ceiling and/or around the rocks. These plants filled the top of the arena and gave the arena a new atmosphere.


We also added some cables that connect from seat to seat. These fill the walls of the environment and give a better atmosphere to the level.


Technical Part:


Enemies:

Two brand new enemies have been added to the game, each with a different mechanic from the one we know. One of those new enemies is the Missile Turret. These turrets rotate around, trying to look for a target to kill. When they find you, they will lock on and fire a guided missile at you. These turrets are more effective in damaging the player than the original ones, but they will have a smaller detection range.
The other one is the kamikaze enemy and as the name suggests, they pack quite a puch. These flying "balls" will slowly float around the map. When they find you, they will come towards you and charge up their inner core. When fully charge, they will explode and deal a massive amound of damage.


Ship boosters:

Two new ship boosters have been added into the game which will boost certain stats of your ship for a short duration of time. These two will be scattered across the map and will help you defeat your enemies. The shield booster will give you a shield which will block all incoming damage for 10 seconds. The speed booster will give a temporary boost of your maximum velocity and your acceleration for 5 seconds. This way you would be able to realy zoom across the map. (please beware that these numbers are currently being tested and that they can change)


The wave and points system:

This is the most important feature yet and will decide your place on the leaderboard. Both the aerial enemy and kamikaze enemy will be spawned from the hatches at the start of each wave. Each hatch will be in a random position and spawn a random amount of aerial or kamikaze enemies.  Meanwhile, all the turrets and mines will be repaired and activated. Shoot them and disable them to gain points and control of the map. Points will also be rewarded for killing both the aerial and kamikaze enemy, gain as much of them as possible to climb up the leaderboard and take your place as the champion.


Some small fixes have been done to the enemies their animation, speed, collision, size and firing rate.
